In the third quarter of 2023, the Middle East saw notable trends among the top 5 puzzle games on the iOS platform. Here’s a closer look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Angry Birds 2 from Rovio Entertainment Oyj saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, peaking at approximately $7.7K in the week of September 18. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, reaching a high of around 10.6K in late August. However, weekly active users experienced a decline from 159K at the end of June to about 135K by the end of September.

June’s Journey: Hidden Objects by wooga had a consistent weekly revenue, peaking at roughly $6K at the end of July. Downloads were modest but steady, with a high of around 1.2K in mid-July. Active users also showed stability, maintaining around 7K users throughout most of the quarter, with slight fluctuations.

Ilyon Dynamics Ltd.’s Bubble Shooter: Pop & Blast experienced a drop in weekly revenue, starting at about $5K at the end of June and decreasing to around $1.6K by late September. Downloads also saw a downward trend, from 3.8K to about 2.1K. Active users, however, remained relatively stable, hovering around 50K throughout the quarter.

Finally, Kahoot! Play & Create Quizzes by Kahoot ASA demonstrated a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 8.5K in mid-September. Revenue saw an uptick, reaching around $4.7K in the same period. Active users also showed growth, climbing from 31K at the end of June to approximately 36K by the end of September.
